House Manager Candidate Requirements

1. Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience managing private households, luxury residences, estates, or similar environments.
2. Proven leadership and staff management experience.
3. An up-to-date CV detailing your work history and responsibilities.
4. Contactable professional references from previous employers.
5. A valid passport and the legal right to work in the relevant country (for international placements).
6. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
7. Experience managing household budgets, schedules, maintenance, and vendors is advantageous.
8. A high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
9. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
10. A clean criminal record and willingness to undergo background screening.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and household management systems is beneficial.
12. Flexibility to travel or live in, where required by the position.

1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Butler, Senior Houseman, or in luxury hospitality or private service.
2. Formal Butler or hospitality training is advantageous. (SABA training would be a huge advantage)
3. An up-to-date CV outlining your experience and qualifications.
4. Contactable professional references from previous employers.
5. A valid passport and the legal right to work in the relevant country (for international placements).
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Impeccable grooming, presentation, and professional etiquette.
7. Experience in formal table service, household organisation, wardrobe care, and guest service is highly desirable.
8. A high level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
9. A clean criminal record and willingness to undergo background screening.
10. Flexibility to travel, work varied hours, or live in where required.
